Oatmeal

  • 2 cups water
  • 2 cups almond milk
  • 2 cups blueberries
  • 2 ripe bananas, sliced
  • 1 cup steel-cut oats
  • 2 tablespoons honey
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • Add all ingredients to list

Directions

Bring water to a boil in a small saucepan. Add oats, cinnamon, and salt. Reduce to a steady simmer and cook, stirring occasionally, until oats are tender, about 5 to 7 minutes. Stir in frozen blueberries. Top with banana, walnuts, maple syrup, and skim milk, if desired.
